vCard QR code generator

Fill in the fields you want people to save. Leave the rest blank. Scan the preview to see exactly what lands in the contact.

Create your code

Building and previewing the code is free and works right here; you can scan the preview with your phone. Downloading the PNG or SVG file starts the 7-day free trial (card required, then $3/mo unless you cancel). Static codes you download keep working even after you cancel. Your content stays in your browser.

vCard or a link to your site?

A vCard code saves your details even when the person has no signal, and it never depends on a website staying up. A link is better if your details change often. If you are not sure, pick vCard for business cards and a link for posters.

Keep it short

Every field you add makes the pattern denser. Name, phone, email and one website is usually enough. Dense codes need to be printed larger to scan well.

Test before the print run

Scan the preview with two different phones and check that the name and number are saved the way you expect.

Static or dynamic?

Static codes hold your content in the image and never route through us, so they keep working forever, even after you cancel. Dynamic codes (Pro) point to a short qrpromise.com link you can edit after printing and include scan counts; they need an active trial or subscription and pause if you cancel. More on static vs dynamic.

Questions

Which vCard version is this?

vCard 3.0, which current iPhone and Android contact apps import.

Can I update it later?

A vCard code is static, so the details are fixed once printed. For details that change, use a dynamic code (Pro) that points to a contact page you can edit.
