Google review QR code generator

Paste the review link from your Google Business Profile, or enter your Place ID and we build the standard write a review link.

Create your code

Builds https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=YOUR_ID

Building and previewing the code is free and works right here; you can scan the preview with your phone. Downloading the PNG or SVG file starts the 7-day free trial (card required, then $3/mo unless you cancel). Static codes you download keep working even after you cancel. Your content stays in your browser.

Where to find your review link

In your Google Business Profile, choose Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and copy the link. Google can also give you a basic QR code there for free; use this page if you want your own colors, a logo, or an SVG file for print. Source: Google Business Profile Help, checked November 1, 2026.

Google's rules on review requests

Google says reviews must reflect a genuine experience and that offering incentives, such as free or discounted goods or services, in exchange for reviews is not allowed. Ask every customer the same way and let them write what they want. Source: Google Business Profile Help, checked November 1, 2026.

Where to put the code

Receipts, a counter sign, thank you cards and follow up emails are common spots. Keep the wording neutral, such as Tell us how we did.

Static or dynamic?

Static codes hold your content in the image and never route through us, so they keep working forever, even after you cancel. Dynamic codes (Pro) point to a short qrpromise.com link you can edit after printing and include scan counts; they need an active trial or subscription and pause if you cancel. More on static vs dynamic.

Questions

Can I offer a discount for a review?

Not on Google. Google treats incentives for reviews as fake engagement and can remove reviews or restrict your profile.

What is a Place ID?

A text ID Google uses for your location. You can look it up with Google's Place ID finder.
