QR codes for print shops and designers

Download SVG for print. It is vector, so it stays sharp from business cards to banners.

Create your code

Building and previewing the code is free and works right here; you can scan the preview with your phone. Downloading the PNG or SVG file starts the 7-day free trial (card required, then $3/mo unless you cancel). Static codes you download keep working even after you cancel. Your content stays in your browser.

Quiet zone

Keep a clear margin around the code. The generator adds one; do not crop it away or place other art inside it.

Contrast

Dark modules on a light background scan most reliably. Inverted (light on dark) codes and low contrast brand colors can fail on some phones.

Proof before the run

Scan the printed proof with at least two phones at the real viewing distance before approving the full run.

Static means no surprise shutdowns

A static code holds the address itself. Your client's printed pieces will not stop because someone stopped paying for a QR service.

Static or dynamic?

Static codes hold your content in the image and never route through us, so they keep working forever, even after you cancel. Dynamic codes (Pro) point to a short qrpromise.com link you can edit after printing and include scan counts; they need an active trial or subscription and pause if you cancel. More on static vs dynamic.

Questions

Can I use CMYK?

The SVG uses the colors you pick. Convert to your print profile in your layout software and keep the contrast high.

What about the Made with QR Promise line?

It is off by default and optional. Leave it off for client work.
