A static code holds your address directly. When someone scans it, their phone opens your page without passing through us. If you cancel QR Promise, the code still works.

Pick a link you control

Print your own domain where you can, such as yoursite.com/menu, rather than a long tracking link or a short link from a service you might stop paying for. You can change what that page shows without reprinting.

When to use a dynamic code

If you need to send the same printed code to a different address later, or want scan counts, use a dynamic code from the Pro dashboard.

Static or dynamic?

Static codes hold your content in the image and never route through us, so they keep working forever, even after you cancel. Dynamic codes (Pro) point to a short qrpromise.com link you can edit after printing and include scan counts; they need an active trial or subscription and pause if you cancel. Questions

Does the code expire?

Static codes do not expire. They stop working only if the page they point to goes away.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Upload it under Logo. We switch to a higher error correction level so the code still scans.
