Free static generator

QR codes on the Free plan are generated entirely in your browser with JavaScript. The content you type is not uploaded to QR Promise servers. We cannot read, store, or deactivate Free static codes because we never receive them.

What we may collect on the website

Like most sites, our host (intended: Cloudflare) may process basic request logs (IP address, user agent, URL) for security and reliability. We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics) on marketing pages. We do not run ad trackers on Free generation.

Pro

Pro dynamic codes store redirect targets and scan metadata (timestamp, country, device class — not IP addresses) so editable links and analytics can work. Account email is stored for passwordless sign in. Payment details are handled by Stripe when checkout is enabled; we store subscription status on our side.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13.
