Expiration is a product choice

QR patterns do not age out by themselves. A dynamic code points at a short URL. When the trial or plan ends, that URL can show a paywall.

Confirm it

Scan and read the address bar. If it is the generator’s domain, you depended on their server.

Replace it

Create a static QR Promise code for your real destination. Download after starting the trial if you need the file, test, then overlay a sticker if you cannot reprint yet.

Prevent a repeat

For print that must last, prefer static. Keep dynamic only on a plan you intend to keep paying for.
