Static generator

Static QR codes are generated in your browser during an active trial or subscription. What you type is not uploaded to QR Promise. We cannot read, store, or turn off static codes you already made because we never receive that payload. That payload is Excluded Data below. Starting a download requires a card-backed 7-day free trial, then $3/mo unless you cancel.

Information we collect

How we use your data

We use this information to run and improve QR Promise, to develop new features, to train and improve AI models, and to create aggregated or de-identified data. We may sell or license that aggregated or de-identified data. We may also sell or share personal information with partners and other third parties — for example analytics or marketing partners — for the account and usage data we collect. That does not include static payloads we never receive, and we do not sell personal information of people who only scan your codes (see Excluded Data).

Excluded Data

Your data and your choices

You decide how we use certain data. You can ask us not to use your data to help improve QR Promise or train AI, and not to share your personal information with partners. These choices also cover the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under US state privacy laws. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing for signed-in users.

Make a choice on our Your Privacy Choices page, or email hello@qrpromise.com with the subject “Opt out”.

If you live in California or another US state with similar rights, you may also ask to access, delete, or correct personal information we hold about you. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. Email hello@qrpromise.com.
