QR code for WiFi
Create a WiFi QR code so guests join without typing a password. Static, printable, keeps working forever after cancel.
Our Promise
Static codes on QR Promise are generated in your browser, contain your data directly, and never route through us — so they can never be deactivated.
Why use a WiFi QR
Guests scan once with their phone camera and join. No awkward password sharing on sticky notes. Works on modern iOS and Android.
How to make one
Open the QR Promise generator, choose WiFi, enter SSID, security (usually WPA), and password. Download PNG or SVG and print it near your entrance or on the table tent.
Static vs dynamic for WiFi
WiFi credentials belong in a static code. If a “free” dynamic code expires, guests hit a paywall instead of your network. QR Promise encodes the WiFi string in the pixels — no server kill switch on static codes.
Print tips
Use high contrast (dark on white). Leave a quiet margin around the code. Laminate if it sits outdoors. Re-test with a second phone before you print a hundred copies.
